Committees

The NARO Papers

The NARO Papers are concise, 1-page articles covering a wide range of nuclear-related topics. Designed for clarity and brevity, they present complex ideas in a way that’s easy for anyone to understand, regardless of technical expertise. Your responsibilities as a NARO Paper committee member will include encouraging members to contribute, coordinating paper topics, assisting with editing to ensure clarity and accuracy, and helping to distribute the papers to a wide audience. By making complex topics easy to understand, you’ll help foster greater awareness and engagement with nuclear energy. 

NARO Website/Photography 

As a NARO Website Committee Member, you’ll be responsible for keeping our website up-to-date, ensuring it remains a reliable and engaging source of information for our community. Your tasks will include posting new content, updating event information, and maintaining a polished, professional appearance for the site. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to attend NARO events, capture photos, and contribute to showcasing our initiatives online. This role is perfect for someone with a creative eye and a passion for digital communication.

NARO Social Media

As a NARO Social Media Committee Member, you’ll be at the forefront of spreading NARO’s message by managing and growing our social media presence. Your responsibilities will include creating and scheduling posts, sharing engaging content, interacting with followers, and staying on top of trends to amplify our impact. Whether it’s promoting events, sharing nuclear facts, or launching campaigns, you’ll play a key role in shaping how NARO connects with the world online. If you’re creative, social-savvy, and passionate about advocacy, this role is for you!

NARO General Campaigns 

As a NARO General Campaigns Committee Member, you’ll be directly involved in planning and executing strategic campaigns to promote nuclear energy and NARO’s mission. Your tasks will include implementing campaign ideas, coordinating outreach efforts, creating campaign materials, and engaging with the public to drive awareness and participation. This role is essential to building momentum for NARO’s initiatives, and it’s perfect for someone who enjoys creative problem-solving, collaboration, and making a tangible impact.

NARO Merch 

As a NARO Merch Committee Member, you’ll help design, create, and manage NARO merchandise such as shirts, stickers, and other promotional items. Your responsibilities will include brainstorming creative merch ideas, assisting with design, coordinating production, and promoting merch to raise awareness and support for our mission. This is a great role for someone with a flair for creativity and an eye for design who wants to contribute to NARO in a fun and visible way!
